Esperanza Club is a scientific club at Mohammed Seddik Ben Yahia university in Jijel affiliated with the Faculty of exact science and computer science that aims to bring together students who are passionate about science and technology. We plan to organize events, workshops, competitions and more.

About us
Esperanza Club is the first scientific club in university of Jijel founded in 2019 by some students. Our purpose is to help students to improve their skills and to help them to find their passion in the field of technology and science. Our themes revolve around information technologies, and we always seek to develop our topics in various technical fields that help the student acquire the cognitive ability that enables him to move to the labor market with high efficiency.
Statistics
The club contains more than 60 members studying in various university majors such as computer science, mathematics, physics, automatics, biology...
The number of members has increased significantly in recent years, due to the many activities offered by the club, which is considered one of the largest university clubs in terms of number of members at the University of Jijel.
Departments
Our club has several departments that help the student to improve his skills in a specific field, such as the Management department, the IT department, the Media department, the Agenda department, the External Relations department, and the Human Resources department.
Envision 30/04/2024The 'Envision' event connected students with future opportunities, offering insights into careers, networking with CEOs, and fostering professional connections. It bridged academia and industry, helping students pursue dreams and CEOs find emerging talent in the wilaya.
Plus 2nd Edition 05/03/2024Plus 2nd was an event featuring study days, technical lectures, and training in Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 for web development students. It included a web development competition with prizes for computer science students, a chess tournament, and workshops on Web 3.0, blockchain, and web development frameworks.
English Speaking Sessions We do English speaking sessions where students can practice their English speaking skills and learn new vocabulary and grammar rules in a fun and interactive way.
Chess Tournaments We do Chess Competitions where students can compete with each other and have fun.
Artificial Intelligence Days 16/04/2023The Faculty of Exact Sciences and Computer Science, in collaboration with us and alkalsadi_club, hosted a two-day AI event at the central library. It featured expert-led discussions on AI advancements, along with competitions, workshops, conferences, and a large exhibition to raise AI awareness and understanding.,
Workshops on diffrent topics We conducted workshops on various topics, such as web development, frameworks, Git and GitHub, voice-over, improving English communication skills, design tools, Microsoft tools, Web 3.0, blockchain, and an introduction to data science.
Student Skills , Develop & Refine 23/12/2023This event offered students a unique chance to enhance their skills through training courses and workshops on Git/GitHub, design, Microsoft tools, and thesis writing. It provided valuable learning from field experts to boost students' knowledge and abilities.
